Companionship
At Halcyon Private Home Care our caregivers act as trusted partners to your aging family members while offering a
friendly ear and capable hands.  Aging parents can become lonely and isolated, especially when family members don't live nearby.  Companionship can be a great service to alleviate some loneliness, as well as to provide some basic help and safety.  We are here to help so you can have the peace of mind that comes from knowing your family member is safe and cared for.  Whether you are looking for hourly or live-in services, we are here to meet your needs.
Meal Preparation
​At Halcyon we understand that maneuvering in the kitchen and preparing meals becomes difficult as we age. Our staff will help prepare and encourage proper diet and nutrition based on each clients individual needs and desires. Our staff can also assist in menu planning taking into consideration dietary restrictions and other limitations such as low sodium diets and low sugar (diabetic) diets while monitoring food and fluid intake.

Medication Reminder
Seniors use more prescription and over the counter medications than any other age group. The proper administration of multiple medications throughout the day can be a challenge for most people.
Managing medications properly is vital to your loved one's health. At Halcyon, we offer around the clock home care services to ensure that our clients get the attention they deserve. Our caregivers can assist in medication management by tracking medication times and reminding clients to take their medications on schedule as well as reporting side effects of these medications to family members and appropriate medical staff. We can conduct a complete inventory of medications upon start of service, and our staff can update as needed.
24-Hour Care
At Halcyon, we provide services that allow people of all ages to live as independently as possible and remain in an environment that is familiar to them. We offer 24-Hour Care services to all of our clients in the comfort of their homes. Our home care services will take your specific needs into consideration and guarantee a personalized caregiver. We provide caregivers who have been appropriately trained and receive ongoing in-services and education.

At Halcyon, our caregivers will encourage activities that will help you maintain your physical, mental, and emotional well-being. With our services, client's can feel confident that their health matters will be addressed in a timely manner without sacrificing their normal daily routines. Comfort/Hospice Care
At Halcyon, we offer professional, reliable 24-Hour Care services to all of our clients. Our services include Companion Care, Hourly Care, Live-in Services, Transition Care from Hospital and Skilled Nursing to Home, and more. Our caregivers are readily available to cater to your needs while allowing you the opportunity to make choices about your care and services within the boundaries of safety. We strive on providing care that encompasses compassion and dignity with the focus of delivering quality care.
